Are the Vikes at a Disadvantage?
This will be Nishna Valley/Malvern’s FIFTH and final game. They have much more game experience than we do. In addition, take a look at their team roster below. You’ll notice that they have some SIZE! With a four week game break, my concerns are primarily in the area of having the right 8 players on the field at all times. I feel confident in our ability to play well on offense, defense, and special teams so we should be competitive regardless.

NO GAME 5
Mr. Hicks attended an all Southwest Iowa Athletic Directors meeting and was unable to find another game to give us a full 5 game schedule. Most junior high teams finished their seasons last Monday. No one is happy about this turn of events. We worked hard, and as the saying goes, “It is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity, than to have an opportunity and not be prepared.”
